About Us
Gold Rock Management is a branch of North Carolina Web Applications that deals almost exclusively with web based content management system (CMS) software designed and engineered to enable you create and manage your own website or to manage your projects online.
We have been in the computer industry since 1971 working with midrange and mainframe systems. When the PC revolution came we began working with software development for the PC and integration into midrange computer systems.
Our experience in the industry is extensive and would take too long to enumerate here however, we have been working with the internet for many years even before it became the force it is today.
We have developed many websites for our customers over the years and the CMS software we developed for general use is simply an extension of all that we have learned ourselves over the years.
About: Creating Websites using Web-based Applications
One of the things that have made it so difficult for people to create and manage their own websites is the need for special “Software” and education in order to get the job done.
If you are a small business owner or even a home-based business owner, you really do not have the time to learn to use this software. Also, you do not need to spend a lot of money to get your site up and going.
Now you can create and manage your own website without needing to worry about software or a steep learning curve. We used our extensive experience in web development and working with customers to create this extraordinary set of tools that help guide you through the development process.
We have simplified the process and, using simple point-and-click tools make the process so easy a child can do it. We offer a wide variety of designer layouts and looks to help you create your web presence with almost no effort.
With only a couple clicks of the mouse, you can change the appearance of your website to match your needs and personality.
Why Project Management?
When I was a young boy I visited with my neighbor across the street and he told me the story of how he started his laundry business. He told me about how he used a cigar box and kept all of his money and receipts in it. Each day, he put all of his receipts in the box and removed his expenses. This is how he tracked his business and growth.
Today even the smallest company uses computer software to track these costs and income. So? What has all of this to do with project management? The content of our Project Management section will address this question and others about how you can benefit from our Web-based Project Management software.
The first question to ask is: Do I need project management software?
To answer this question, answer the following questions:
- Do I have people in the field who need information and/or resources in order to do their job?
- Do we need to communicate constantly by email or phone about the work they are doing?
- Do I work with contractors, subcontractors and or suppliers to send or receive information, products or materials?
- Am I sending too much time managing the information flow and not enough getting real work done?
- Am I managing documents but not really projects?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions then you need project management software. Now the question to ask is: What kind of Project Management software?
First of all, most project management software is designed by and for “bean counters”. In order to make effective use of them, you have to spend a lot of time working with restrictive, complex and often difficult to use programs.
We offer a web-based solution that enables everyone you allow the appropriate access to your information. As you review the features we offer, remember that it takes less than an hour to train someone to use our system. |
